Most people think we get too much e-mail.  However, for better or for worse, e-mail is here to stay because it is a useful tool for people who need to communicate across different locations and time zones.  This presentation seeks to share tools and tips for everyone to effectively manage their e-mail and the ensuing tasks that result to help us gain more productive time for business, development and personal pursuits.  This will also be related to the processes of communication management.

Stephanie Lum is a Business Analyst and Project Manager at Century Computers, Inc.  She is responsible for managing and executing projects to deliver solutions on-time and on-budget; conducting business process analyses to determine optimal approaches for automation; preparing technical and user documentation; driving results, while prioritizing multiple goals, staying on target and minimizing risk.  With over eight years of project and process analysis experience from the private and not-profit sectors, Stephanie is a skilled communicator, committed to follow through and has the ability to learn new processes quickly. Stephanie earned her PMP in July 2005 and has served as Special Projects Director for PMI-Honolulu as well as participating on the Programs, Professional Development and Finance committees.  She is also actively involved in the American Society for Quality and Toastmasters.
