Synopsis:
Every enterprise must ensure their business priorities and investments are tightly linked. Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) is the governance mechanism used to make rational and reasonable spending and investment decisions to enable companies to meet their growth strategies.

The goal of PPM is to ensure an organization’s overall portfolio of investments is aligned with and contributing optimal value to the organization’s strategic objectives. Studies from MIT, Gartner and Forrester all show the significant benefits of sound PPM but PPM is still an immature governance process in many organizations.

This presentation provides a comprehensive overview of the discipline of PPM and why it is essential to ensuring the success of the project and programs that enable an enterprise to meet its strategic goals and objectives.
