Synopsis

Business is like NASCAR racing. Some businesses seem to always place first, while others lag as “also rans”, or worse…they crash against each other and the walls. Organizations of all kinds face the most challenging and perilous economic “race track” in nearly a century. Will your organization finish…or be finished? Project managers can provide valuable insight to their senior management teams on the types of “Quick Hit” projects that can steer their companies into leading competitive positions. “Quick Hit” projects set the pace for businesses looking for strategic cost containment and revenue protection during this economic downturn. These projects can also position the company to slingshot out of the curve into a leading position to take the “checkered flag” during the next straight-away economic boom. Project Managers who drive such efforts can not only avoid career “crashes” such as layoffs, but can also win the race and enjoy the rewards of being a business results “hero”.

Alan Yue will share with you several broad categories of initiatives for you to “fuel up on” and ponder in relation to the organizations you serve. These initiatives represent current responses from over 1500 executives representing over 4700 companies that include 80% of the Fortune 500 and 75% of the FTSE 100. You will leave this session revved up, ready to smoke your tires, and leave the competition in the dust!
