Speaker Biography:

Erin Kaohelaulii-Brett is a Scrum Master on a cross-functional, multi-departmental software development team at Hawaii Medical Services Association (HMSA) that is working on a centralized benefit application.  As a servant leader, she has also executed the Product Owner role and continues to help as a Tester (including Test Automation).
 
She is an Agile enthusiast that wants to spread the na‘auao to anyone interested and is in the process of assisting with coaching/on-boarding new Scrum teams across the organization.

Synopsis:

Have you ever worked with individuals that lack motivation and teamwork, causing your project to miss key deadlines?  How about running lessons learned sessions that resulted in no follow-up improvements? In this interactive workshop, attendees with learn how to use Agile/Scrum tools and techniques in a traditional project.
 
Erin will share her experience of facilitating retrospectives throughout the project life-cycle for various teams.  This process empowered team members to effectively communicate, collaborate, self-organize, and take action to continuously improve.  By using various techniques that are fun and creative, you’re able to help teams to continue to deliver with minimal oversight.

Speaker Biography:

Heather is from Des Moines, Iowa.  She is a stimulus for change as a mom, consultant, trainer, speaker and volunteer for IIBA®.  For the past 20+ years, she has collaborated with project teams to create better business outcomes.
 
She is a fierce advocate for excellent analysis practices and loves to share her passion through speaking, teaching, and mentoring.  She loves to travel and wants to travel the world sharing her experience to enable others.
