Beach Clean-Up Event

PMI Honolulu, Hawaii Chapter joined 808 Beach Clean-Up at Oneula Beach Park on Dec 14, 2019 and collected 2,159 lbs of rubbish including two car doors, two truck tailgates, a dryer, and 9 tires! Among the trash were two shanks and a syringe. Other tasks included clearing out invasive species and painting the K-Rail (concrete traffic dividers). Among the group were 4th and 5th graders from Makaliko Elementary School. Representing PMIHNL were Erin Gonzalez, LeAnn Puckett, Audrey Jewell, Roy (Kimo) and Kelly Sabalboro, Yoh Kawanami, Carrie Arakaki, Yovo and Michele Stefanov, and Travis Romesha. Great turn out for our first community event!
