Seeking Your Participation in a Survey about successful Project Management in the Technology Industry as it relates to Servant Leadership

Member Articles

Submitted by:  Michael Dale

The focus of this dissertation study is on successful technology projects and project managers who exemplify servant leadership characteristics.  The research question asks:  “What is the relationship, if any, between successful technology project outcomes and project managers who practice a servant style of leadership?”

In a 2010 research dissertation published by Kenneth Thompson, he addressed the correlation between successful projects and servant leadership broadly.  As an extension to his research, this study will focus on the specific industry of Technology to obtain and observe direct or indirect correlations regarding project managers and successful technology projects.  At the conclusion of this study, the hope is that future researchers will begin to examine other vital industries individually to identify potential correlations between servant leadership and successful project outcomes.

Please participate in this survey in support of the Piedmont International University PhD Program.  The survey should take approximately 5-10 minutes and the survey results will be completely anonymous.  After completion, the researcher will submit a follow up article with his findings, so look out for the summarized results!  Thank you for your consideration and participation.
