Nelwyn Yee is the Owner and Director of Learning & Performance Improvement Solutions.
For the past 15 years, LPI Solutions has been helping organizations craft learning strategies and programs that help businesses and employees obtain the knowledge and skills they need to be successful. Their learning solutions extend beyond the walls of a traditional classroom training or online course. They are focused on ensuring the transfer of learning and application occurs.
LPI Solutions also offers an innovative Knowledge Transfer service to capture and transfer the “secret sauce” (tacit and explicit knowledge) of a critical team member to other key individuals in the organization or to harvest “best practices” from teams.
Prior to starting LPI Solutions Nelwyn served as a Training Manager in hospitality, a Senior Learning Consultant in healthcare, and a Senior Instructional Designer in a Biotechnology company. She also served as President and Board Advisor for the Hawaii Chapter of Association of Talent Development (ATD).
Description:
We all know that Lessons Learned sessions can be extremely valuable. Harnessing insights from the past can help to ensure future success. One of the keys to conducting an effective Lessons Learned session is helping participants get into the right frame of mind and allow them time and space to think and reflect. During our session, you’ll experience a new Lessons Learned approach. We’ll transport you virtually to different scenes in Hawaii and ask you to reflect on the past year. At the end of the session participants will share one key learning they would like to take forward with them. We’ll also share a handout describing how you can create your own virtual tour Lessons Learned session.
During this interactive session we will:
- Discuss the importance of lessons learned activities
- Experience a new approach to lessons learned
- Describe how to create your own innovative lessons learned experience
