Diversity is a vital human factor that makes people unique, distinguished and independent. Fundamentally, diversity means respecting individual differences, accepting others regardless of ethnicity, race, culture, language, education, experience and work styles, and not tolerating discrimination, exclusion or stereotyping of people. Yet, in most project teams, exclusion occurs by default and due to the lack of knowledge and awareness. In a diverse project team, the goal is to create an inclusive work environment where everyone feels mutually valued, respected and accepted. For the first time, this presentation will reveal how diversity and inclusion are essential for effective decision-making and leadership.
