Topic Description: Google and Apple jointly created the Exposure Notifications System (ENS) out of a shared sense of responsibility to help governments and our global community fight this pandemic through contact tracing. Sixteen states are already using the same ENS. California, Oregon, and Hawaii are piloting the ENS now.
In partnership with the Hawaii Department of Health, aio Digital has developed the AlohaSafe Alert app as the State of Hawaii’s official exposure notification app. AlohaSafe Alert is a free, voluntary new service that helps slow the spread of COVID-19. https://www.aiohawaii.com/aio-digital/

Speaker Bio: Brandon Kurisu is the President of aio Digital, a division of aio, overseeing various digital companies, brands, and investments within the aio Family of Companies. Prior to aio Digital, Brandon founded Upspring, a web/software development company that has since evolved to become a successful digital consultancy working with many of Hawaii’s Top 250 businesses. Brandon serves on several non-profit Boards including the American Heart Association, Hawaii Literacy, Kohala Institute, the University of Hawaii Alumni Association and the Pacific and Asian Affairs Council.
Faciliator Bio: Maggie Martinson is a member of PMI Honolulu since 2013. Her current role is Director of Practice Development at Partners for Quality Health (a PMAG subsidiary), leading a team of healthcare professionals and serving as a business consultant for nearly 800 independent physician practices. Prior to joining the healthcare industry, Maggie has extensive experience in finance, real estate, marketing, and the travel industry in Hawaii, US mainland, Asia and South America.
