Speaker: 

Greta Blash has extensive experience as an executive and consulting IT professional, both domestically and internationally. Her areas of experience include program management, project management, agile/adaptive development, business analysis, customer relationship management, and business intelligence.

In addition to her PMP certification, she also holds program management (PgMP), business analysis (PMI-PBA), and agile certifications (PMI-ACP, DASSM and CDAI) from Project Management Institute (PMI).

She is a frequent presenter at various PMI and IIBA meetings and conferences.  She has been recognized as a SME for the PMI Standard for Business Analysis and Benefits Realization Practice Guide from PMI; a contributor to the new 7th edition of the PMBOK Guide; and as a reviewer of the 5th and  6th edition of PMBOK Guide, the 4th edition of the Program Management Guide, the Earned Value Management Standard and the Estimating Practice Guides.

Even though the new 2021 PMP Exam is still based on the 6th edition of the PMBOK Guide, along with other references, it is very different.  As program management adapts to changing environments, so do the skills and competencies of project manager.

This session will look at the new exam domains, content, as well as the question formats.  Even those who currently hold a PMP can learn about new mindset and concepts in project management.

  • Understand the new project management mindset
  • Understand the exam domains and the changes the exam covers
  • Learn more about using a hybrid approach to managing projects
