Speaker Bio
Danny Morton currently serves the Vice President on the PMI Hawaii Chapter Board of Directors. He is an Army Veteran who served in multiple leadership roles at the operational and strategic levels of the military, directly responsible for hundreds of millions of dollars in funding, equipment, property, procurement contracts, and a distributed global workforce. His experience includes service at the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command Headquarters, The Pentagon, Deputy Director/Portfolio Manager for Medical Systems Advance Development and Procurement, Defense Acquisition Program Manager with the Army Portfolio Executive Office – Enterprise Information System (PEO-EIS), and NATO Afghanistan. Post military he served as a consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH) and currently a Senior Program Manager with the U.S. Navy Pacific Fleet Headquarters on Pearl Harbor. He holds the Certified Defense Financial Manager – Acquisition (CDFM-A), Project Management Professional (PMP) and pursuing a PhD in Strategic Leadership.
