PMI Honolulu Virtual Breakfast Roundtable
Topic: Welcome Aboard! Project Onboarding for Success!
Speaker: Todd Hedgcoth
Topic Description: As a project manager or project team member, the chances that you've gone through some type of project onboarding process are pretty high. Whether it's learning about the project's purpose and objectives, understanding roles and responsibilities, gaining the necessary system access, or meeting your fellow team members, onboarding activities help set the foundation for new team members' success. Do you have a standard proceedure, process, or checklist? Who is responsible for onboarding new team members for your project? What are some best practices? What is often missed? What are your ideas to improve the process?
