Free Virtual Lunch with 1.5 PDUs

Topic: Project Management in the times of COVID-19

Topic Description: Aloha PMI HNL Members!  We hope you and your loved ones are safe and sound during this pandemic.  We hope that you are able to join us in piloting a new virtual meeting format for this month.  Bring your lunch and let's learn together in this interactive session where we'll be discussing two articles from ProjectManagement.com.  Please click on the articles below, log in using your PMI.org credentials, read the articles ahead of time, and bring your thoughts for an interactive discussion.  Depending on how many participants we have we may break out into smaller discussion groups.

• Article #1:  Project On!  5 Actions to Maintain Project Momentum During COVID-19
  • What were some new ideas that you learned after reading the articles?
  • What actions resonated with you?
  • Any actions you disagree with?
  • What other actions would you suggest to maintain project momentum that were not already included in the article?

• Article #2:  Embracing Virtual Work Culture
  • Are you currently working virtually from home?
  • Have you worked virtually for an extended duration in the past?  How is this the same/different?
  • What tools do you use to stay connected?
  • What were some new ideas that you learned after reading the article?
  • What other suggestions or lessons learned do you have that you'd like to share with the group?

PMI Talent Traingle: A total of 1.5 Technical PDUs (30 min. for reading and 1 hour of discussion) will be reported by PMI HNL for chapter members (no self-reporting needed).
